Ralph Conner (1895 - 1951)
One of Homer Watson's first pupils, Ralph Conner began painting in his twenties. He was a founding member and past president of the Kitchener Waterloo Society of Artists. On many occasions, his work was accepted and hung in exhibitions of the Royal Canadian Academy and the Ontario Society of Artists.

"Tobacco Farm" 1950
Thanks to Tom for sharing this photo of his oil painting. It is the view from behind Newtex Cleaners on Ottawa Street in Kitchener - the view is of a tobacco farm. The frame is the original - but nicely painted - not the original beige that many of us are so familiar with.
